Lotus Lamp Uchiwa
A portable lamp combining traditional Kyoto fan-making with hinoki wood, urushi lacquer, and brass. An interchangeable handmade paper fan shapes the light and allows its expression to evolve over time.
Nakata Ceramic Snow
A sculptural ceramic light created with Nakata Ceramic and Christopher Flechtner. Its softly textured Snow finish becomes gently translucent when illuminated, bringing quiet warmth to contemporary interiors.
Tonda Washi Pendant
A sculptural pendant created with Christopher Flechtner of Craftsman Collective. Its circular framework and translucent Japanese washi create an expansive, weightless form that casts softly diffused light.
Nakata Ceramic Blue
A sculptural ceramic light created with Nakata Ceramic and Christopher Flechtner. Its rich Japanese Blue finish becomes gently translucent when illuminated, bringing depth and character to contemporary interiors.
En Movement
A modular pendant originally created for Common Things, inspired by indigo-dyed aizome paper from Tokushima. Its cloud-like form adapts to different lengths and orientations, bringing sculptural rhythm to contemporary interiors.
